Clinical Nurse Manager - Waitlist / Anaesthesia and Perioperative Clinic

FSH is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. Responsibilities
  • Provide an effective clinical function in maintaining the WEST (Western Australia Elective Services Target) and elective patient flow within Waitlist.
  • Influence the practice of waitlist management for elective surgery patients to be operated within appropriate urgency timeframes.
  • Be accountable for leadership, clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development, and change management.
  • Oversee the review of patients having planned surgery or procedures at FSH requiring anaesthesia, including the review and management of high-risk anaesthetic patients.
