Design & Build has partnered with an Australian EPC company working across multi-million dollar energy transmission and distribution projects globally.

Following continued growth, they are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function with full ownership of accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial strategy in a dynamic SME environment with multi-million dollar contracts.

This hands-on role will suit a commercially minded professional who enjoys problem-solving, thrives on variety, and is comfortable working across both strategic and operational finance.

Salary & Perks

  • $130-$160k + super (negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Manager:
  • Lead all finance operations, reporting, and compliance for the business
  • Manage cash flow, forecasting, and foreign currency transactions
  • Prepare monthly accounts, board reports, and financial analysis
  • Oversee statutory obligations (BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation)
  • Drive process improvements and mentor the team
Skills & Experience
  • CPA qualified
  • Experience in project-based revenue environments (e.g., EPC contracting)
  • Familiarity with international transactions and trade finance
  • End-to-end finance management experience
  • Experience with people management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work hands-on.
