Overview

Allied Health Assistant - Inner South role at Plena Healthcare – casual opportunity in Melbourne Southeast. You will work under the guidance of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to support high-quality clinical care for clients in Residential Aged Care and community settings. The role involves hands-on clinical support and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy services as per treatment plans developed by Allied Health Professionals
  • Facilitate exercise groups and support one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Assist residents to and from therapy areas and set up therapy spaces
  • Maintain and clean therapy equipment and areas
  • Support with administrative duties including referral collection and equipment orders
  • Communicate regularly with therapists regarding client progress and treatment adjustments
  • Engage in regular supervision, mentoring, and professional development activities

What You'll Need
  • Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance
  • A completed or partially completed degree in health-related field
  • Driver's license and access to a car
