**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As an Allied health assistant in CHSP / HACC team, you will support Occupational Therapists with comprehensive home assessment, recommendations regarding assistive equipment and home modifications and provide holistic client and carer support and education. This role will directly report to Grade 2 OT. This position sits within CHSP Occupational Therapy team based at Parkville.

You will have opportunities to:

- Work in a supportive team comprising of a senior occupational therapist, grade 2 occupational therapist and allied health assistant
- Work collaboratively with the patients/significant others and interdisciplinary team to deliver effective, efficient and integrated holistic care
- Attend team meetings, case discussions
- Be a part of strong supervision structure and opportunities for professional development to deliver evidence based holistic care.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Allied Health Assistant Certificate III/IV or equivalent
- Current drivers licence
- Demonstrated experience as an Allied Health assistant within an health care settings
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Enthusiastic, flexible, dedicated, team-oriented, adaptable and friendly
