Riverside Primary School (PS) is a Level 5 school with approximately 450 students enrolled in Kindergarten to Year 6. Riverside draws from a wide boundary catchment area. Families of Riverside are from diverse social and economic backgrounds. This makes Riverside unique in that it is catering for most spectrums of society. There is also a high rate of transiency. Both of these factors create their own set of challenges to work through at the school.

This includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as handling tasks like dusting and rubbish removal. Vacation cleaning duties involve activities such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, and pressure cleaning verandas.
