About the role: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our in-house Reservations team at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley in a casual capacity. As a Reservations Sales Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing reservations to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

• Respond promptly and courteously to all guest inquiries and reservation requests via phone, email, and online channels
• Efficiently process guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a consistent and positive guest experience
• Provide recommendations on room types, resort amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
• Contribute to the achievement of revenue and occupancy targets

• Proven experience in a customer service or reservations role within the hospitality and tourism industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a warm and friendly service
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle guest inquiries and requests
• Knowledge of Opera and Third-Party Agents is preferred, however, not essential
• Adaptable and flexible to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
