Our small team is focused on producing high quality outcomes for all our customers in the first and second home builders market.

At Hug Homes, we are looking for a Senior Draftsperson with the following experience and skills to be part of our team:

  • Ability to produce sales sketches and design concepts using ArchiCAD
  • Ability to collaborate with Sales and Design Consultants to refine concepts
  • Ability to produce full set working drawings using ArchiCAD
  • Ability to produce prestart selection updates to working drawings
  • Ability to liaise with local government authorities, key suppliers, and land developers

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a residential drafting role with a project home builder
  • Strong understanding of R Codes, developer requirements, and NCC (including keeping up to date with relevant changes)
  • Proficient in ArchiCAD
  • Strong communication skills to maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability and willingness to meet deadlines
