What You'll DoAs a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders and teams to embed safety into day-to-day decision-making and drive proactive risk management. This role is about more than advising, it's about partnering to solve problems, build capability, and deliver safer outcomes together. You will play a key role in lifting safety leadership, strengthening risk controls, and supporting the implementation of strategic safety initiatives across your client groups. Based in Melbourne, this role requires regular presence across VIC sites: Scoresby and Collins Street.
Responsibilities include: embedded in the action, working side-by-side with operational leaders to weave safety into every decision, process, and day-to-day operations. Based in Melbourne, you will bring a boots-on-the-ground mindset across our two Melbourne sites, collaborating with teams to manage risk and lead, influence and empower. Your mission is to lift safety leadership, strengthen controls, and turn strategy into action.
- Be a true partner to leaders, bring safety to the front foot of operations.
- Lead initiatives that shift mindsets, reduce risk, and build ownership from the ground up.
- Turn big-picture strategy into on-the-ground action, tailored to each site's unique rhythm.
- Coach and empower leaders and teams to take charge of their safety responsibilities.
- Use data and insights to tell stories, set priorities, and deliver results.
- Hunt down inefficiencies and co-design smarter, more sustainable safety solutions.
- Build a culture of curiosity, accountability and care where safety is owned by everyone.
- Min Grad Diploma, Diploma in H&S
- H&S Internal Auditing qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a H&S role
- Proficient computer skills, strong knowledge of Australian health and safety
