Followmont Transport is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Yard Hand. This is a great opportunity to kick-start your career in the transport industry, with a supportive and fun team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. Based at our Eagle Farm Depot, this full-time permanent role is available for the right person to start immediately. With the opportunity for career growth and development, you'll be supported by our leadership team to progress within the industry.

What You Will Be Doing :

Assisting with handling and securing freight on trucks using ratchet straps, chains and binders

Opening and closing gates and curtains on tautliner trucks

Manually handling freight to ensure it's treated with care and no damages occur

Processing and handling parcel and general freight as needed

Responsibilities :

Ensure all freight is properly secured and transported without damage

Maintain high standards of accuracy and detail in all tasks

Adhere to safety standards and company procedures

Assist with the smooth operation of inbound and outbound freight

Handle various manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

What You Need : Forklift License

Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

HR Driver's License (desirable)

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks correctly and on time

A proactive and disciplined approach to work
