We're hiring a Part Time Senior Cook to lead the way in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional food service for our community

In this hands-on role, you'll take charge of meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and dining room standards, making sure every plate served is fresh, safe, and satisfying. You'll also be part of a team that values respect, independence, and genuine community spirit.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead meal preparation, ordering, and kitchen stock management while maintaining high food quality and minimising waste
  • Oversee food safety compliance as the site's Food Safety Supervisor, including temperature checks and documentation
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, dining area, and community spaces to meet health standards
  • Build positive relationships with residents and team members, always showing care, empathy, and professionalism
  • Follow WHS procedures, complete training, and safely handle chemicals and equipment in line with safety guidelines

About You

  • Qualified with Food Safety Supervisor accreditation and HACCP knowledge
  • Experienced in cooking and serving buffet-style meals, with a basic understanding of budgeting and cost control
  • Friendly, caring, and confident with great communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle feedback professionally and positively
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on kitchen work, including lifting, cleaning, and using PPE
