About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Beauty Advisor to join our team. If you live and breathe makeup and skincare, have a genuine love for helping others look and feel their best, and have experience in makeup application, we want to hear from you

We're looking for someone who is excited to take initiative, connect with our community, and help drive the growth and success of our beauty department. As a Beauty Advisor, you'll not only provide top-tier customer service but also be part of a team that leads by example and inspires others to share their beauty knowledge.

Exciting Store Renovation

Our store has recently undergone a stunning renovation, featuring a brand-new beauty station designed to elevate both the customer experience and your work environment. You'll have access to a luxurious setting where you can showcase your skills and inspire customers.

Availability Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays, to meet our customers' needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Beauty Advisor, you will manage and be responsible for the entire Cosmetics and Beauty Accessories section. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by understanding individual beauty needs and offering personalised makeup and skincare advice that makes customers feel confident and empowered.
• Makeup Application: Perform makeup applications for customers, demonstrating techniques and product usage to enhance their beauty routines, while keeping up with the latest trends.
• Colour Matching: Assist customers with colour matching to ensure they find the perfect products for their skin tone and type.
• Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels and organise inventory, ensuring the beauty department is well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Liaising with Brands: Collaborate with brand representatives to stay updated on product launches and promotions, facilitating in-store events and demonstrations.
• Training and Development: Share your beauty expertise with other team members, helping to enhance their skills and knowledge in makeup and skincare.
• Sales Targets: Monitor and manage KPIs and sales targets within the beauty department, implementing strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Leadership & Process Improvement: Take initiative in developing processes to better structure and amplify the beauty department, ensuring a seamless and customer-centric experience.
• Social media presence: Amplify our beauty department's presence online by keeping up to date with trends, sharing product tips, tutorials, or creating content that showcases your expertise.

To be successful as a Beauty Advisor, you should have:

• Proven experience in makeup application and a strong understanding of beauty products and skincare.
• The ability to advise customers confidently on makeup and skincare needs, offering tailored recommendations.
• A creative mindset and interest in social media, with the ability to help amplify our presence online and engage with customers virtually.
• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication abilities.
