This part-time weekend role offers 10 hours per week across Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You'll support kitchen operations and meal service in a friendly, team-oriented environment where your contribution directly supports resident wellbeing. With no late-night work and attractive weekend rates, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekend hours.

What's On Offer

  • Saturday and Sunday: 12:30pm – 5:30pm
  • 5 hours per shift / 10 hours per week
  • Saturday rate: $32.31 per hour
  • Sunday rate: $38.78 per hour
  • No evening or split shifts

Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Orange

Role

What This Role Involves:
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
  • Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
  • Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
  • Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods

Desired Skills And Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
