About the RolePosition: HMU Artist (Melbourne studio, full-time)
You'll work with our in-house photographers, producers, stylists, and creative teams on a wide variety of shoots including fashion, e-commerce, product, lifestyle, and editorial campaigns. You'll report to the Production Manager and bring talent and creativity to the team.
Responsibilities- Prepare hair and makeup looks in line with client briefs and creative direction across a range of productions.
- Maintain high hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Conduct touch-ups and changes throughout shoots to ensure talent maintains a polished, camera-ready appearance.
- Collaborate with clients, stylists, photographers, and producers to align on visual styling and continuity.
- Maintain and organise all hair and makeup equipment and products.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a hair and makeup artist in studio or on-location settings.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of styles across different skin tones and hair types.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional makeup certification or relevant qualification preferred.
- Experience working with commercial brands or advertising agencies is highly desirable.
- Friendly, collaborative attitude with excellent communication skills.
