About The Role

Kickstart your career in a vital industry by joining our Water & Waste Services team as a trainee. While completing a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations, you\'ll gain hands-on experience in water treatment, distribution, and wastewater processes across the City\'s infrastructure. Under expert guidance, you\'ll assist with system operations, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting. This is a unique opportunity to build technical skills, contribute to essential community services, and grow into a qualified water industry professional.

The start date for this traineeship is flexible (e.g depending on the circumstances of the successful candidate. Please refer to the Position Description for a more detailed understanding of the role.

About You
  • Completed Year 12 or equivalent; hold a Class C (or Provisional) driver\'s licence; possess a White Card. Basic skills in Microsoft Office; ability to work well in a team; and a willingness to work outdoors will help you thrive in this hands-on, practical role.
What\'s on offer
  • Weekly salary of around $830 (depending on age and study completion, e.g. HSC) + 12% superannuation
  • Temporary two-year full-time position, 38 hours per week
