As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger, in building the future we want.

This is your opportunity to make a real impact—ensuring our teams operate safely, efficiently, and in line with client, legislative, and organisational requirements.

- Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Identify safety risks and opportunities, support the development and implementation of improvement strategies, and contribute to maintaining external safety certifications.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Investigation: Conduct site inspections and audits, investigate incidents, provide recommendations and corrective actions, and share lessons learned across the business.
- Stakeholder Support & Injury Management: Advise Project Managers on safety matters, liaise with internal stakeholders, and manage Injury Rehabilitation and Return to Work processes on projects.
- Diploma in OHS (minimum), with additional certifications in areas such as ICAM, Workplace Rehabilitation, First Aid, Confined Space, Work at Heights, and Internal Auditing. Auditing qualifications and Traffic Management Levels 2–4 are also desirable.
- At least 10 years of experience in civil construction or a related industry, with a proven understanding and application of core safety principles and risk management practices.
- Previous experience in a management or team leadership role, supported by a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, with the ability to mentor and lead safety culture on site.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledgeable in safety systems, auditing processes, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a team-first mindset, able to engage effectively with all levels of site and project personnel, clients, and auditors.
- Health & Wellbeing – discounted health insurance, seasonal vaccinations, wellness discounts, fertility benefit and employee assistance program (EAP).
