About The Opportunity

You'll help us design smarter, safer, and more efficient power distribution networks in Queensland — with a particular focus on subdivisions in the Energex region. You'll:

• Create detailed and compliant designs for Energex underground and overhead networks.
• Develop concept layouts and masterplans for exciting residential and commercial developments.
• Collaborate with councils, Energex, and internal project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Design street lighting in line with Rate 2 and Council Rate 3 requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all technical, environmental, and safety requirements (don't worry – our quality and RPEQ team has your back).
• Support our growing design capability and bring fresh ideas to our fast-moving projects.
  
  

CV Infrastructure Design is an exciting, fast paced environment with a highly motivated team to succeed and are looking forward to bringing in new team members to challenge and grow our capabilities.

Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of experience in electrical design or project work (URD/Energex exposure a bonus)
• An understanding of power distribution networks and standards in Queensland
• Confidence working with AutoCAD and/or lighting software (a plus, not a must)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with both clients and teammates
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
