About The Opportunity

As a Graduate Geologist, you will report to the Senior Geologist and have the opportunity to engage in a program where you will have exposure to multiple core geology experiences. You will gain operational skills and be trained and mentored by enthusiastic leaders.

The role includes

• Collection and recording of accurate geological and geochemical data conforming to the company procedures, and a basic understanding of QA/QC concepts.
• Process, log and sample core.
• Geological mapping exercises in which geological features are observed, measured, and documented.
• Produce regular production reports documenting monthly reconciliation performances, with reference to relevant geological or other pertinent factors.
  
  

What do I need?

• Tertiary Qualification in Geology
• Strong computer literacy skills and excellent communication skills with all levels of operation
• Possesses a current and valid Manual Driver's Licence
• Possesses a National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months
• The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process
