About the opportunity

As a Graduate Geologist, you will report to the Senior Geologist and have the opportunity to engage in a program where you will gain exposure to multiple core geology experiences. You will develop operational skills and be mentored by enthusiastic leaders.

The role includes

  • Collection and recording of accurate geological and geochemical data following company procedures, with a basic understanding of QA/QC concepts.
  • Processing, logging, and sampling of core.
  • Conducting geological mapping exercises to observe, measure, and document geological features.
  • Producing regular production reports, including monthly reconciliation performances and relevant geological data.

What do I need?

  • Tertiary Qualification in Geology
  • Strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills across all levels of operation
  • Valid Manual Driver's Licence
  • Valid National Police Clearance within the last 12 months
  • Ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment screening
