Job DescriptionYour responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support the Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial statements
- Collaborate with the sales team on sales forecasts
- Manage accounts receivable, including following up on overdue amounts
- Coordinate with supporting staff on monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Work with external accounting firms on month-end close processes for group companies
- Prepare monthly/quarterly BAS
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for audits and tax filings for two Australian companies
- Prepare cash flow forecasts
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
- Support continuous process improvement with other business functions
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A university degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Completed or ongoing CA/CPA qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in Big 4 or Mid Tier firms is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- Experience working with international teams
- A proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Defined career pathway in a growing company
