About Our Client

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial statements
  • Collaborate with the sales team on sales forecasts
  • Manage accounts receivable, including following up on overdue amounts
  • Coordinate with supporting staff on monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work with external accounting firms on month-end close processes for group companies
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly BAS
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for audits and tax filings for two Australian companies
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
  • Support continuous process improvement with other business functions
The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A university degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Completed or ongoing CA/CPA qualification
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience in Big 4 or Mid Tier firms is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience working with international teams
  • A proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
