Overview

Contractor Opportunity – Maintenance Service Fitter

Location: Newcastle & Hunter Region, NSW

Alfagomma Australia is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Service Fitter to service our valued clients across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley region.

This is a contractor position, not an employment opportunity. Applicants must have their own ABN and be able to start promptly. We offer generous charge-out rates and an opportunity for growth within our network of clients.

Responsibilities
  • Install and remove hydraulic hose assemblies
  • Measure hose lengths prior to installation
  • Assemble hoses and fittings
  • Install hydraulic components
  • Carry out general mechanical work on mining equipment
  • Conduct mine site-based measurements as required
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (MEM30219) or higher
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Service Fitter in mining or heavy industry
  • Ability to work independently and on-site at client locations
  • Own tools, transport, and ABN
