Beverage & Food Supervisor (Living Room) – W Hotels Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Job Summary

W Sydney is currently casting for a Food & Beverage Supervisor for our Living Room (Lobby Bar). This role plays an integral part in the daily supervision of the Living Room Bar and the team, and to continually improve guest and talent satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Take responsibility for the day to day operation of the Living Room Bar
  • Communicate effectively between different departments to ensure smooth and seamless service
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, standards, and procedures
  • Monitor alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws
  • Strive to improve service performance and set a positive example for guest relations
  • Support Talent on the floor during peak times
  • Complete opening and closing duties including set up and cleaning of equipment
  • Create a positive environment for Talent so they can thrive at work
  • Provide feedback to Talent based on observation of service behaviours
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Availability to work weekends, rotating shifts, and public holidays when needed
  • Current and valid RSA
  • Knowledge of beverages and different cocktails, spirits, wines, etc.
  • Focus on service culture for the guests
  • Full working rights in Australia
