Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. Harmony is currently preparing to progress the Execution Phase of the Eva Copper Mine Project in Queensland, Australia. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Services Advisor to join our team based in Milton, Brisbane.

Reporting to the Principal - Project Services, you will partner with project managers across the region to effectively manage cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting for sustaining capital projects.You will be a critical resource in assisting project managers through the project lifecycle from ideation, prioritisation and categorisation through to close out whilst ensuring compliance with governance requirements and the project delivery framework.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Oversee and report all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards, within agreed scope and in line with the established project management methodology.
• Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.
• Support project teams in setting up projects and ensuring compliance with governanceand quality requirements to successfully deliver all key project milestones and outcomes.
• Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project risks and issues to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and priorities.
• Prepare and analyse cost, forecast, scope and schedules against approved funding, execution plans and monthly forecasts and incorporate changes into project forecasts.
• Coordinate regular cost and schedule review meetings with project managers ensuring timely identification of deviations, timely capturing of costs and execution of agreed recovery strategies.
• Liaise with project managers on timely submission of capital expenditure requests and project change control processes, including assessment of scope changes, cost and schedule impacts, and incorporation into project forecasts.
• Prepare and deliver accurate, timely and insightful project reports and dashboards for steering committees and executive level stakeholders.
• Support ongoing portfolio prioritisationacross multiple sites through systematic analysis and collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Educating and training project managers to be self-sufficient in various systems / templates / policies / procedures.
• Take lead and organise project post-implementation evaluations on a timely basis.

About you:
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and coach others across all levels of our organisation and hold the following qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in project services and/or project control roles within capital project environments, particularly in sustaining capital project reporting, forecasting and planning. Experience in mining or similar industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in project controls and support services, portfolio management, including prioritisation and performance monitoring.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Project/Primavera P6 and SharePoint isessential.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation / dashboarding tools is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Pronto / SAP / Oracle is advantageous.
• Experience in implementing and managing the ongoing maintenance and improvement of a portfolio management system like Planview is preferred.
