Sr HCM Functional Consultant (Absence, Time Tracking) - Workday Success Plans at Workday. The role focuses on helping customers maximize value from Workday by delivering services that support post go-live success and effective use of Workday HR technology.

The Workday Success Plans Delivery Team ensures customers maximise value from Workday products through post go-live services, feature assessments, and deployments to support evolving business needs. Workday emphasizes a people-first culture, diversity, innovation, and corporate social responsibility.

The ideal candidate explains complex concepts clearly, facilitates collaborative solutions, and helps customers derive maximum value from their Workday investment through a range of services.

Responsibilities include:

• Confidently and consistently provide excellent customer service
• Engage customers to quickly understand business requirements
• Share broad experience with industry practices
• Adapt and succeed independently in challenging situations
• Develop and demonstrate system configuration solutions, articulate product capabilities, and discuss design risks and benefits
• Support multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects
• Help customers become more self-sufficient, stabilise and optimise Workday applications, and learn about new features
• Collaborate with a highly collaborative team to stay productive and showcase strengths
• Share expertise with customers through Ask-an-Expert requests, including:
  • Conducting research to understand customer questions and Workday concepts
  • Delivering small-scope consulting with configuration guidance, demonstrations, tips, and considerations
  • Troubleshooting product configuration to meet business requirements
  • Clearly communicating responses and value to customers
    • Partner with an Engagement Manager to deliver services such as:
      • Feature Adoption Workshops (facilitating Workday feature roadmap discussions)
      • Functional Review (Tenant Review with Consulting Services)
      • Health Check (Tenant Review with Cross-Functional Consulting Services)
        • Additional services include:
          • Collaboration Crews (group customer sharing discussions)
          • Accelerator Webinars (customer presentations on Workday features to achieve business goals)
          • Feature Accelerator (one-on-one guidance to accelerate feature adoption)
          • Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews (identifying adoption opportunities)
          Responsibilities
          • Provide expert HR technology guidance focused on Absence and Time Tracking in Workday
          • Engage with customers to drive successful feature adoption and value realization
          Qualifications
          • 5+ years of experience with Workday configurations
          • 5+ years of IT implementation experience
          • 2+ years of software consulting experience
          Required/Preferred Qualifications
          • Workday Certification in HCM; Absence and Time Tracking are ideal
          • Experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, and/or Oracle is a bonus
          • Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders
          • Ability to lead design meetings toward collaborative outcomes
          • Ability to deliver results within project plans
          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
          • Experience with global implementations is preferred
          • Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously
          • Bachelor's degree or related experience required
          • Ability to travel up to 10%
