Food Prep Team Leader - Morning Shift

FEEDWELL is looking for a hands-on Food Production Team Leader to run the early morning Bread Team. This is a structured, calm kitchen role with no service and high-volume prep for next-day delivery.

Location: Sydney CBD (near Town Hall station)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:30am – 7:00am

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team during the 2:00am–7:00am shift (up to 24 staff)
  • Assemble sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, and other cold items
  • Label, pack, and check items for accuracy and presentation
  • Maintain flow and cleanliness across your section
  • Guide the team to meet quality and speed targets
  • Liaise with your supervisor if issues or support are needed
What You'll Be a Great Fit For
  • 3+ years of food prep or kitchen experience (café, catering, QSR, or commercial kitchen)
  • Experience with portioning, assembly, and knife handling
  • Leadership or training experience (or willingness to step into a leadership role)
  • Thrives in a quiet, structured early-morning environment
  • Neat, punctual, and keeps your section on track
  • Ability to read labels, follow systems, and communicate clearly in English

Shift & Location

  • 1:30am–7:00am, Monday to Friday
  • CBD kitchen (near Town Hall station)
  • No weekends or split shifts
