Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Yokohama Tyre Australia is seeking a Trade Qualified Mechanic for our national automotive chain Tyres & More at our Emu Plains store.

Tyres & More offers a wide range of services including tyres, wheels, batteries, vehicle servicing, and mechanical repairs on various vehicles.

Due to significant business growth, we are looking for a motivated Mechanic to join our friendly team at Emu Plains.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, customer-focused, and committed to providing excellent service.

If you're seeking career progression and wish to develop your skills across different vehicle types, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified Motor Mechanic
  • Experience in tyre and mechanical workshop (preferred)
  • Experience with tyres (advantageous)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High work ethics and quality workmanship
  • Customer service experience (desirable)
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Understanding of safety standards in a workshop
  • Team player willing to assist in all workshop tasks
  • Current manual driver's license
