Position Profile: The Project Manager provides strategic leadership and operational support in the identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of Aboriginal health programs, projects, and services within the Child and Adolescent Health domain. This role plays a critical part in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal children and adolescents by ensuring culturally appropriate and evidence-based service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Aboriginal health programs and projects focused on child and adolescent health.
- Collaborate with Aboriginal communities, stakeholders, and service providers to ensure culturally safe and responsive health initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and guidelines aligned with state and national health priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.
About CAHS: The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, and the State's only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS comprises four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children's Hospital (PCH). It employs over 6,500 people, delivering services at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), and across a network of more than 160 community clinics in the metropolitan area.
