The schools you will be joining

St Monica's School welcomes students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds living in the Oakey township and surrounding rural areas. Being a small school, all students are well known and catered for with a range of academic, spiritual, sporting, cultural and social opportunities. At St Monica's, education is about supporting and growing each child's natural curiosity for learning. It is about equipping them with the knowledge and skills that they will need for life. With this in mind, the dedicated, caring and expert staff ensure that students are inspired, challenged and supported and live out the vision to 'Go and do likewise'.

St Joseph's School, Tara emphasises 'community' - principals, teachers, guidance counsellors, staff and parents working together with the wider community to educate and develop each child - emotionally, academically, physically, socially and spiritually. As a small, well-resourced school they are achieving educational excellence as they create a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive place of learning. Staff are valued and supported as they continue their own learning journey with a range of in-school and off site professional learning options. With a strong multi-age and early years curriculum, quality classroom management, integrated Indigenous education, and lived Catholic school identity - St Joseph's has much to offer both staff, students and their families.

St Joseph's School, Chinchilla is a rapidly growing Catholic primary school in a vibrant regional town that has maintained that friendly small school feel. Embracing the dignity and unique qualities of each child, the staff at St Joseph's know their students well, and provide individualised support for each and every one of them. Dedicated to their craft, they are always looking for ways to strengthen relationships and build knowledge and understanding of what works best in a contemporary classroom.
