Join our People & Culture team

At Delta, our purpose is to produce energy safely, reliably, and responsibly. We're committed to supporting Australia's energy needs today while transitioning to a more sustainable tomorrow. As we grow, we're looking for passionate people who share our values to join us.

Are you looking for a flexible role in a supportive and professional People & Culture team? We're seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join us on a casual basis, starting immediately. This role will help cover upcoming leave periods and provide support to the team with day-to-day activities. It's a great opportunity to contribute to a range of people and culture functions. Whether you're looking to build your HR career or bring your experience into a more flexible working arrangement.

Initially offered as a short-term opportunity, there is potential for this arrangement to be reviewed based on business needs. It's a chance to join a great team, gain hands-on experience, and make a valued contribution.

What you'll do

You'll work closely with our People & Culture team to support a variety of recruitment and administrative tasks, such as:

Drafting and publishing job advertisements

Coordinating and interviewing candidates

Assisting with onboarding and induction activities

Booking pre-employment medicals and background checks

Providing general administrative support across the P&C function

In addition, you may have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of ad hoc tasks or projects, depending on your experience and areas of interest.

What you'll bring

We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and experience levels. What matters most is your ability to stay organised, communicate well, and work collaboratively in a small and agile team.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

Some experience in a HR, recruitment, or administration environment

An understanding of HR processes and employment practices

Strong organisation and time management skills

A proactive mindset and willingness to pitch in across different tasks

Confidence working with people and building professional relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications in human resources, business, or a related field are desirable, but not essential. We also welcome applications from candidates currently studying and working toward these qualifications.

What we offer

  • Flexible, casual role; ideally 2 to 3 days per week, with some variation depending on team needs and your availability
  • Earn a competitive hourly rate plus an impressive 14% superannuation
  • Enjoy a great work-life balance in a supportive and family friendly environment
  • Opportunity to grow your HR skills in a hands-on and collaborative team
  • Enjoy working close to home on the beautiful Central Coast NSW
  • Utilise our Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional support
