LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is just like jumping into a giant box of LEGO bricks with an abundance of all things LEGO-tastic With two exciting LEGO rides, MINILAND featuring the iconic landmarks of Melbourne, a 4D cinema, themed LEGO play and building zones, there are simply more LEGO bricks under one roof than you could ever imagine.

Be a part of the Merlin magic by joining us as a Playmaker in Retail at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Melbourne. This position will also be required to work off site at a pop-up retail store at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

These positions are casual and offer flexible shifts to fit around your other commitments, whether you're volunteering, studying, or looking after your own little LEGO builders. There are opportunities for everyone to be a part of the team at LDC

About the Roles

Retail Attendants are responsible for upselling, selling stock, helping with deliveries, stocking—all while delivering a fantastic and memorable experience for our guests

Café Attendants are responsible for making coffees, food prepping café foods, selling in the café, and complying with food safety standards. Preferable candidates will hold a Food Handlers Certificate.

Please note: Weekend (both Saturday & Sunday), Public Holidays, and school holidays availability is essential for this role. This role will be casual until the end of the Summer Holidays, with the potential to extend post-holidays. Penalty rates apply.

About You

As the ideal candidate for these roles, you will have a passion for guest experience with a focus on fun. Previous transactional experience and strong interpersonal skills are strongly preferred. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing environment where no two days are the same—so you will always be proactive in your approach to customer service with a high-spirited attitude. A passion for working in the tourism/attraction industry is essential.

In addition, you are a strong communicator and are able to build rapport across the business. Your ability to have a flexible and adaptable approach, along with demonstrated planning, organizational, and time management skills, are desired.

Holding a current employer (VIC) Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain one if successful) is also required for these roles.
