Schools Officer

  • Monday to Friday role – no weekend or public holiday work (no shutdown during school holidays). Working hours: 6:30am – 2:36pm.
  • Work close to home – Pumicestone School location.

Delta Facilities Management offers maintenance, construction, and project management services to a diverse range of clients, including defence organisations, schools, offshore projects, and remote resources industries.

The Position

  • Flexible all-rounder with a positive attitude.
  • Provide general assistance to Facility Supervisor.
  • Set-ups and pack-downs for events.
  • Action work orders efficiently.
  • Perform handy-person works and assist trades as required.
  • Occasional light cleaning and grounds duties.
  • Carry out minor routine maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

The Person

  • Beginner to intermediate computer skills.
  • Strong safety focus.
  • Flexible approach and attitude.
  • Team player capable of working autonomously.
  • Experience working in a school or education environment (highly desirable).
  • Essential: Must be able to obtain a Blue Card, undertake a functional medical, and pass drug and alcohol tests.
