Great opportunity for a Site Manager to join a reputable head contractor delivering commercial construction projects ranging from $5M-$30M. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive site performance, uphold safety standards, and maintain strong subcontractor relationships to ensure the successful delivery of diverse projects.

About The Role

As Site Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations initially building 24 apartments in Albury.

Following this project you will work across a range of commercial projects including education, healthcare, industrial and community builds. You'll lead subcontractor teams, drive short-term programming, and uphold certified WHS systems and quality benchmarks from site establishment through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all site-based construction activities, managing subcontractors, trades, and materials
  • Maintain strong rapport with subcontractors - approachable yet firm in ensuring accountability
  • Conduct and lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
  • Implement and enforce certified safety management systems
  • Coordinate inspections, safety walks, and ensure site compliance with WHS legislation
  • Manage short-term programming and daily scheduling to align with overall project milestones
  • Maintain strong communication with the Project Manager and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and quality control
  • Deliver structural builds (1-2 storey) and a variety of project types with confidence
  • Utilise tools such as Procore for site documentation (preferred, not essential)

About You
  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects $5M-$30M
  • Strong knowledge of WHS practices and experience working under a certified safety system
  • Good communicator who builds positive, productive relationships with subcontractors and consultants
  • Diverse project experience across sectors such as education, aged care, light industrial, or community
  • Experience delivering structural components (concrete, steel, timber - 1-2 storey structures)
  • Short-term programming and trade sequencing experience essential
  • Procore experience desirable but not mandatory
  • Current White Card and valid driver's licence
