Responsibilities
- Design, implement and evaluate quality Food Technology programs and resources that meet a diverse range of student needs and foster high expectations.
- Manage classroom and practical workspaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and other stakeholders to support learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Unconditional full approval to teach Food Technology is required. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the application process concurrently with this opportunity.
- Proven ability in classroom management and capacity to manage practical workspaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons to enhance student learning opportunities.
- Capacity to design and implement quality programs and resources that foster a culture of high expectations for a diverse range of student needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community.
