Overview

Randwick High School's foundation year in 2025 marks the beginning of a new era for public education in the Eastern Suburbs area. Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and evaluate quality Food Technology programs and resources that meet a diverse range of student needs and foster high expectations.
  • Manage classroom and practical workspaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and other stakeholders to support learning outcomes.


Qualifications
  • Unconditional full approval to teach Food Technology is required. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the application process concurrently with this opportunity.
  • Proven ability in classroom management and capacity to manage practical workspaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons to enhance student learning opportunities.
  • Capacity to design and implement quality programs and resources that foster a culture of high expectations for a diverse range of student needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community.

If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part-time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE. Applicants on the eligibility list will be offered the remaining FTE but are not obliged to accept. WWCC clearance number should be included as part of the application.
