Senior Electrical Engineer (Relocate to Tasmania) at SAGE Automation

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team to successfully deliver complex engineering solutions for projects within requirements, schedule and budget in your area(s) of expertise.
  • Deliver professional engineering services in multiple areas of engineering competency across concurrent projects.
  • Liaise directly with clients to develop and refine scopes of work as needed.
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to your team; may include leading extended teams to achieve non-technical project outcomes.
  • Take accountability for the team's performance in achieving schedule, quality and budget targets.
  • Prepare and produce electrical designs to meet project requirements, specifications, budgets and timeframes, reporting to the Principal Engineer and/or Project Manager.
About You
  • Ideally based in Launceston with unrestricted Australian Work Rights.
  • Electrical Engineering degree qualification with five plus years of proven experience within automation, Defence, energy, utilities or manufacturing sectors.
  • Eligible for state-based engineering registration in Electrical Engineering.
  • Verifiable knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Verifiable design management or leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Open to mid-level engineers looking to develop and transition into a senior role.
