About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our corporate team in Melbourne. It involves diverse, hands-on work with extensive exposure to cross-border investment and M&A in both public and private markets.

You will advise Australian and international clients across various industries, engaging in private and public M&A (domestic and cross-border), private capital raisings, IPOs, venture capital transactions, and providing guidance on the Corporations Act and Listing Rules, among other commercial matters.

You will collaborate with a team of professionals known for their industry expertise, cohesiveness, inclusiveness, work-life balance, and client satisfaction.

About You

We seek a solicitor with 3 to 5 years' PQE, with solid experience in corporate transactions from a leading law firm or respected boutique. You should be passionate about commercial law and possess:

  • Strong drafting skills for M&A transactions and shareholders' agreements
  • Ability to manage due diligence exercises
  • Experience in ECM and public M&A
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Capability to manage client work with partner support
  • Initiative and teamwork skills
  • Enthusiasm and positive team contributions
