Job Description:

As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for designing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with clients and project teams to turn ideas into visually compelling and ecologically responsible landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
  2. Create landscape designs, including site plans, planting plans, hardscapes, and lighting.
  3. Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArcSite).
  4. Ensure designs comply with local codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
  5. Select appropriate materials, plants, and features.
  6. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers throughout implementation.
  7. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma in Landscape Design is preferred.
  2. Professional experience in landscape design is favourable.
  3. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArcSite) is favourable.
  4. Strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skills.
  5. Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  6. Knowledge of horticulture, environmental planning, and sustainability principles.
