WAX Design is an Adelaide-based award-winning, multi-disciplinary landscape architecture studio focused on collaboration.
Our studio culture is creative and vibrant, supporting wellbeing, flexibility, and work-life balance. We operate a 4-day workweek (Monday to Thursday), totaling 33 hours.
We are seeking a driven and creative Landscape Architect to join our team. If you have a fresh design approach and want to work in an energetic environment on exciting projects, we would love to hear from you
You will work on diverse projects across metropolitan and regional South Australia, including urban design, open space, play and education, master planning, art and design, and residential gardens.
We support your professional development, offering mentorship and assistance in becoming a Registered Landscape Architect.
Key Requirements and Skills- Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture
- 2+ years' experience in a landscape architect role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and contract documentation
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Motivated, collaborative, and autonomous work ethic
- Rigorous design approach
- Site supervision and contract management experience
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of plants and construction processes
- Hand drawing and rendering skills
