Carways is a family owned and operated company, renowned for providing reliable and efficient motor vehicle transportation and comprehensive vehicle transport solutions across Australia's east coast. Established in 1970, our reputable company has been servicing the car carrying business for over fifty years.

We are currently seeking experienced tow truck drivers and truck drivers to operate out of our Queanbeyan depot. As a tow truck driver, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting driveable and non-drivable vehicles throughout Queanbeyan, Canberra, and surrounds.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, this is a full-time, rostered position with night and weekend work on call.

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
  • Motivated, proactive, and flexible
  • Punctual, honest, and reliable
  • Towing experience (desirable)

You must hold an MR licence (as a minimum). You will also need to be willing to attain a tow truck licence if you don't already have one.

If successful, you will be required to provide a copy of your licence history and undergo an employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
