Based in Leederville, our unique flagship operation includes a world class seafood restaurant, function spaces and the state's finest fresh seafood retail fish market. We also provide wholesale supply of fresh seafood to many of Perth's best hospitality venues.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Venue Manager to lead and manage the day to day operations of our multi-faceted business and support our experienced department managers across all operations.

This hands-on leadership role requires someone with strong commercial acumen, hospitality and ideally retail experience, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional service and results.

Key Responsibilities

Management and Leadership

Oversee daily operations across restaurant, functions, retail & wholesale

Ensure a consistent and high-quality experience across all touchpoints

Foster a productive, engaged, customer-first culture at every level

Respond to feedback and maintain a strong community reputation

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and team development

Execute local marketing and promotional strategies whilst building strong relationships with our regular customers

Manage with the Financial Controller budgets, forecasts & reporting

Identify new revenue opportunities

Operations, Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with all hospitality, liquor, food safety, and WHS regulations

Maintain venue and team certifications (e.g. HACCP, liquor licence, fire warden)

Manage, security, risk and emergency procedures as needed

Ensure the venue meets all cleanliness, maintenance & presentation standards

Oversee and manage all facilities and building maintenance

What You'll Bring

Minimum 5 years' experience in managing a hospitality and/or food retail venue

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

High standards of service, compliance and team performance

Financial and operational management capability

Comfortable in a dynamic, high-volume environment

Proficiency in systems like Excel, POS, and rostering platforms

Relevant industry certifications (or willingness to obtain):

Food Safety Officer

Liquor Licensing (Approved Manager)

Chief Fire Warden

First Aid
