Job Title: General Practitioner – Pittsworth, Queensland.

Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-time.

Practice Information:
The practice is situated in the main street in the center of the retail sector and opposite the swimming pool. They are a GP owned practice with a focus on quality patient care, work life balance and a fantastic team environment for our staff. They are an AGPAL accredited Practice. The centre is computerized and fully equipped. The practice is supported by a long serving full time Practice Manager and Registered Nurse, and we are a friendly cheerful team. Fully equipped local aged care/dementia facility is located within 2 kilometres. There is an interesting variety of illnesses, and they cater to a mixed patient demographic in a rewarding work environment. They strive to provide a culture of learning & support. Quality of lifestyle is important to the team at the surgery. They believe in a sensible work balance and encourage time for self-care. The Practice has spacious consulting rooms that open on to small gardens.

Position Description:
There is a need for a full time or part time female/male GP wishing to work in a thriving well-equipped rural general practice. Remuneration starting with a negotiable percentage of billings would be offered. Hours are from 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • General Registration with Australian Medical Board, Level 3 supervision minimum

Salary Information:

  • Percentage of billings (rate depends on qualifications and experience).
  • Area of need mixed billings (doctor autonomy) with high Medicare rebates & incentives plus high percentage negotiations.

About Pittsworth:
Pittsworth is a model country town 40km southwest of Toowoomba and has a population of over 5,000 including the surrounding shire. Pittsworth has a very good variety of retail facilities including a large IGA and Woolworths, a Community centre, a residential age care facility and modern dementia unit, a State Primary and High School, a Private Primary School, an Athletics /AFL oval, a NRL field with adjoining Soccer fields, a rejuvenated Olympic size Swimming pool and a quality gym facility. Pittsworth position is ideal for enjoying the space, clean air and quiet of country living whilst being able to enjoy the attractions of a city as large as Toowoomba only 30 minutes away and Brisbane only two hours away or the Gold Coast or Sunshine coasts less than three hours away.
