Who are we?

Our client, a purpose-driven organisation in the legal sector, is supported by a passionate People & Culture team working to grow their impact across Victoria. With a major service expansion underway and 24 new roles to fill, they're looking for an experienced recruiter to help deliver hiring with a human touch.

Who are you?

You're a confident recruiter with experience across the full hiring lifecycle - from briefing to offer - and you bring a calm, considered approach to high-volume work. Whether it's BAU recruitment or project-based hiring, you're able to hit the ground running, influence stakeholders, and work independently.

Ideally, you've worked in a government or NFP setting and know how to navigate internal processes, compliance requirements, and a little bit of bureaucracy - while still keeping people at the heart of your work.

Day to day

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of roles – from sourcing and assessing through to selection and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and co-design tailored recruitment strategies
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of diverse and skilled candidates using proactive sourcing techniques
  • Support the uplift of hiring manager capability in inclusive recruitment and candidate engagement
  • Champion a positive, inclusive and candidate-focused experience at every stage of the recruitment process

What's in your toolkit?

  • Experience in white-collar recruitment - ideally within government or NFP. Great if it's been within Legal
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to influence
  • A tech-savvy mindset and hands-on ATS experience (Springboard is a bonus)
  • Resilience, initiative, and the ability to work independently
  • Comfort with compliance, process, and ambiguity - and the ability to challenge the status quo when needed
  • A proactive, people-first approach that makes hiring feel human
