About the role

The role supports the delivery of the Kaleidoscope Initiative (KI), an employment program initiative funded by Department of Training and Workforce Development, to assist skilled migrants from any visa background to connect with their chosen field of work in Western Australia. The Kaleidoscope Initiative consists of Workplace Readiness Training Workshops and a 12-week Mentoring Program to improve job readiness and strengthen industry networks for migrant jobseekers.

This role is primarily responsible for the successful delivery of the Mentoring Program, where volunteer mentors are matched with mentees to provide guidance, share industry insights, and help build professional networks, ultimately enhancing the mentees' confidence and employability in their chosen field.

In this role, you will work with professionals from a diverse range of industries and businesses to match them with suitable mentees. You will plan, organise, and deliver the Mentoring Program cycles, ensuring end-to-end coordination from recruitment, onboarding and induction of mentors to monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes. In addition you will collaborate with other members of the team to actively seek ensure the success of all components of the Kaleidoscope Initiative.

You will bring

• Program Coordination: Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver structured community programs, and demonstrated understanding of the Continuous Improvement Process.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships and networks with a range of professional and community stakeholders
• Training and Support: Ability to support, encourage and lead participants at all stages of program engagement using a solutions-focused approach and an emphasis on motivational engagement.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage diverse audiences, including the ability to utilise social media to attract and retain engagement.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Proven ability to track program progress, gather feedback, build and administer evaluation tools and report on outcomes.
• Strong Administration Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, data tracking, and presentations, and excellent organisational skills.
• Strong experience in identifying and pairing mentors and mentees based on professional goals and compatibility. You will bring :A passion for supporting professional migrants in achieving meaningful employment outcomes.
