The Opportunity

The Economic Development Marketing Officer plays a key role in promoting the Western Downs as a vibrant, thriving region to live, work, invest, and visit.

This role supports the development and delivery of innovative marketing and communication strategies which elevate the region's profile, enhance community engagement, and drive economic growth.

About Yourself

A person in this position will need to hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Event Management, Public Relations or a related field OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience.

It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have:

  • A current driver's licence for this role as travel may be required.

Salary Packaging Available

Leave Loading

You will receive 17.5% leave loading on top of your base rate of pay, while you are on Annual Leave.
