Client in the Retail Banking sector, based in Sydney and Melbourne, has commenced a cost optimisation program, initially focusing on Procurement.
RoleThe Analyst will be working with a Partner, and two other Analysts on confirming initial opportunities in procurement and sizing the most material opportunities. This will then progress to defining, scoping and completing a detailed workplan and steps required for 2-3 major initiatives that the Analyst will be accountable for delivering.
Successful candidates will have the following experience- Experience with a Big 4 consulting firm or equivalent industry experience
- A detailed understanding of the Retail Banking sector in Australia
- Experience in procurement in major organisations
- The ability to analyse procurement arrangements and negotiate with 3rd parties to optimise the client\'s cost position
- Strong spoken and written communication skills (particularly PowerPoint)
- The ability to synthesise complex and disparate information into insights and recommended actions
- Confirming and sizing cost opportunities in the procurement area
- Developing detailed definition, scope and implementation plans for a number of those opportunities
- Working with the client to deliver the cost savings identified

Location: Sydney
Rates: Gross daily rate is $1,500
