About our Apprenticeship Program :

We are looking for Apprentices to join us in February 2026

Our Apprentice Substation Electricians work in teams and carry out duties associated with the maintenance, installation, augmentation and fault finding and fixing of all electrical plant and equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, and HV switch gear and LV switchboards.

While predominantly working in a zone substation environment,you still must be willing to work outdoors, at heights and in all weather conditions.

Our four-year program sees our Apprentices :

• Be trained . Earn a nationally recognised TAFE certification.

If you want to be part of something essential, be essential with us earning an industry recognised trade qualification : Certificate III – Electrotechnology Electrician (A Grade Licence).

To be eligible to apply, you need to meet one of the following pre-requisites :

Units 1 & 2 General Maths (Year 11 equivalent); orVCAL or VCE Vocational Major; orCurrently completing (or completed) a pre-apprenticeship TAFE training course in Electrotechnology (Cert II)If you are currently completing a pre-requisite subject, you are eligible to apply, as long as it will be successfully completed by the end of the 2025 academic year.
