Play a key role in developing and supporting a business-critical IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) platform, driving financial and workforce insights for a leading enterprise. Onsite in Essendon Fields, Melbourne.

About the Role

We're working with a large organisation in the logistics sector that is seeking an experienced Planning & Analytics Specialist (TM1) to strengthen their planning and analytics capability. This position is hands-on with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), focused on modelling, development, and administration rather than design, which is already in place. Reporting into the Corporate Systems & Solutions Manager, you'll collaborate closely with finance and HR stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, delivering enhancements, and optimising core reporting and forecasting processes. The business is progressing a major transformation program, with TM1 remaining a core platform for forecasting and analytics alongside future initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise TM1 models and applications in line with business requirements.
  • Provide first and second-level support, ensuring stable and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, test plans, and ongoing improvements.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting initiatives.
  • Work with a broader systems team to ensure effective data flows and system integration.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in TM1 development, modelling, and administration.
  • Advanced IBM Planning Analytics certification in Modelling and Development (mandatory).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Finance, or a related discipline (desirable).
