Insolvency & Restructuring Senior Accountant

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor of Commerce or Business (Accounting) degree.
  • 3–6 years' insolvency experience.
  • Strong investigation skills, with a proven track record in successful recovery of voidable transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Corporations Act and relevant insolvency legislation.
  • CA or CPA qualified (or working towards).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, accountable approach.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior team members.

What you'll be doing
  • Managing and assisting with external administrations, with primary conduct of some small to medium administrations.
  • Supervising and mentoring insolvency accountants.
  • Liaising directly with directors, creditors, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Preparing detailed reports and undertaking investigations into insolvent companies and individuals.
  • Assisting with litigation and recovery actions.
  • Supporting the control and sale of distressed assets and businesses.
