Overview Of Our Role

Group Manager, Finance Systems & Processes – an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, supportive leader to shape the way we manage and use financial data to support better business decisions.

Be empowered to play a pivotal part in connecting Finance, IT, and Data teams to build scalable, automated, and insightful reporting systems. Be passionate about improving how we use data, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a space where both technical skill and strategic thinking come together.

You'll be responsible for leading transformation across finance systems, enabling improved reporting and decision-making capability, while ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategy.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the management and continuous improvement of finance systems and reporting platforms
• Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams to drive system integration and optimisation
• Deliver scalable, automated, and insightful reporting tools to support decision-making across the group
• Apply your technical expertise in financial data, SQL, Databricks, and analytics tools to deliver high-impact solutions
• Guide and influence cross-functional teams to deliver transformation and innovation
• Support the uplift of data literacy and reporting capability within the Finance function
  
  

Experience You Will Bring To The Role

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field; CPA/CA preferred.
• Proven capability in finance systems, data analytics, or financial reporting.
• Skilled in designing automated reporting processes and leading systems projects.
• Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience in Databricks or similar platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP and enterprise performance management (EPM) tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and business partnering skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects, lead cross-functional teams, and drive change independently.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience with cloud data architecture and modern data warehousing.
• Understanding of Australian financial reporting standards and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with finance digital transformation or system migration programs.
• Experience with generative and agentic AI tools.
• Understanding of the energy industry and regulatory landscape.
