We are seeking a passionate dance teacher to join our school Co-Curricular Dance Program on a casual basis. Ravenswood is proud of its growing Co-Curricular Dance Program that offers classes for students in Prep to Year 12 in a variety of dance styles.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be highly organised with strong communication skills,
  • Have the appropriate qualifications with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching Senior School students (Years 9-12) in Hip Hop,
  • Have a keen eye for polishing and refining performance groups in the Hip Hop style, appropriate to a school context,
  • Be willing to attend eisteddfods and performance events throughout the year,
  • Have a passion for positively building the schools' dance program,
  • Be willing to take one Junior school (Kindy) Jazz class, in addition to the focus of Senior School classes,
  • Hold up to date CPR and First Aid training,
  • Be willing to or has completed safe dance training course recently.

These classes are held on Tuesday afternoons and there is the potential for this role to expand over time.
