About the Role

We are currently seeking a flexible, self-motivated, and highly organised Storeperson to join our tight-knit team based in Mackay, QLD. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with a positive "can-do" attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, with a primary focus on the accurate receiving of Purchase and Transfer Orders for both customer fulfilment and stock movements between branches. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive team player looking to grow with a dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts.

Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.

Ensure warehouse operations are conducted both safely and efficiently.

Ensure products are received and checked against Purchase Order receipts, monitoring for any discrepancies and escalating where necessary.

Efficient Pre-Picking, Packing, and Dispatch of customer orders.

Receiving Purchase and Transfer Orders, including the inspection, labelling, and correct placement in the Identified Inventory Location System.

Be a part of the stocktake process as required to ensure stock accuracy.

Communicating with the Depot Manager regarding warehouse operations.

Leading by example in relation to Company policies including Work Health & Safety policies and procedures. Where necessary identify and report safety needs or issues promptly.

To be successful in this role you will have :

Current Forklift License (or willingness to obtain).

Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role (preferred)

Good customer service and communication skills.

Experience with the use of RF Scanners (desirable not essential).

High attention to detail to ensure accuracy levels are maintained to a high standard.

Current Australian Driver's License.

Basic Microsoft Office skills required e.g. excel, word, etc

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
